Traveling the River Route
The River Route offers three distinct public transportation choices linking the 12 municipalities located along Route 130. The RiverLINE, Burlink, and NJTransit provide travelers with convenient and affordable, mass transit alternatives for travel in the area.
RiverLINE
The RiverLINE connects 20 stations and hundreds of destinations. Operating seven days a week, the RiverLINE runs from Trenton to Camden, and connects to NJ TRANSIT trains, AMTRAK, SEPTA and PATCO—providing access to Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Newark Liberty International Airport and New York.
Passengers may now use BurLink Shuttle Transfers on the RiverLINE and also to travel one zone on NJ TRANSIT Bus Nos. 317, 409, 413, and 419.
The RiverLINE offers a reduced fare for passengers over 62, handicap accessible stations, Bike-Aboard Programs, and Quik-Tik.
Burlink

BurLink is the county’s shuttle bus transportation system that operates town-to-town routes, with connections at common locations between towns, including seven routes that connect with the RiverLINE. The service provides transportation to NJ Transit Routes 317, 409, 413, 418, 419, and 457. During the school session, the B3 Burlington County XPress provides transportation for Burlington County College students between the Willingboro and Pemberton campuses.
This service runs Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., is handicap accessible, and costs just $1 one-way, except for the B3 Burlington County XPress, which is $2 one-way.
The shuttle does not run on major holidays including: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas.

NJTransit
NJTransit offers transportation via bus, rail, and light rail connecting major cities in New Jersey as well as New York, and Pennsylvania. Service covers an area of 5,325 square miles, and is the third largest provider of bus, rail and light rail transit in the country.
Operating 2,027 buses, 711 trains, and 45 light rail vehicles, NJ Transit provides about 223 million passenger trips each year.
NJTransit also provides publicly funded programs for people with disabilities, senior citizens, and people living in areas where there is no affordable means of transportation.
